Villa Park Patio

Timber! Well, not exactly. Due to years of poor drainage, flooding, and bad foundation;this indoor patio conversion started to settle. It's hard to tell with pictures but the outside edge of this addition sunk down almost 10" at its lowest point! As a result, all the doors and windows were stuck solid. Not to mention the giant crack along the length of the room. This was an adventurous project as we were able to recieve the proper permits to lift up the corner of the house and install huge footings to hold it back at its correct height. This was a fun project and the homeowners could not have been happier with the new open space. Eveything happens for a reason!
